My main job of the night was to join these 42 blocks into rows...I didn't get to making the top...but it will happen soon.
I started these blocks from a case of strips purchased from Jude - which she delivered to Baradine...(that was in April - so a pretty quick turn around!)
There are 6 blocks in each row...but they are off the sides.
I told my husband I needed a bigger cutting table . . .he grunted. Oh well.
Wendy's linkup is here if you want to see some of the others who sewed along . . .

Your strips are growing into a great quilt top.
Bunnings for folding tables ??
Good progress.
Those strip blocks look great... did you sew them on a background? I always love how strip scraps come together so well...

Its looking fabulous and you were very quick putting it all together. Hopefully the 'grunt' will yield a bigger workspace for you soon :)
Hopefully you have planted the seed of an idea for a bigger table!! Great blocks, it is a beautiful quilt.
The strips look so good all together. It was a great selection in the case. I’m sure you will have the top finished in no time.
Great sewing. It won’t be long before it’s a top
