I was being quite successful at resisting until a group of us were fabric buying (for our Charity Quilts). A few were already in or teetering and someone said - "Well they don't take long once they are cut"...mmm...
So, here I am making Churn Dash blocks, and - because there is a deadline/goal to have 1/4 of the blocks finished by June 30th - they are done.
Here are the block fabrics
We "need to" do 1/4 each month til September - but then only have October to finish it off - that means sashing and setting triangles. I really need to have a word to Madam Organiser about that ....LOL

I know how you feel! But I chose to really blitz this SAL on a couple of very warm and steamy days when we were inside with the air conditioning.
Yes, rather a lot to achieve in the last month. LOL I did think about adding my sashing as I go, but then a squirrel hopped by.....

It’s going to be a great stash buster quilt. Yes, the one month will be a bit tight, especially as I will probably still be away for some of it.
Great blocks, maybe some finishing can be done in advance? I see some sashings going on over the ditch.

Your churn dash blocks are just lovely, and your friends were right, they do come together quickly once they're cut! I love how the orange block just pops!
