I made 4 and got to play with overclocking on my normal machine - quicker than French Seams as an alternative - though slower than a real overlocker.
Looking at these - I almost want to make a Christmas skirt!

Some BIG Santa Sacks
Echidna Sewing's October Charity Project was to make BIG Santa Sacks for Magic Moments Foundation. The organisation delivers baskets of food
and other goods to underprivileged families, Previously they have used garbage bags - so these bags will be a much nicer alternative!
They are 32" x 39" - quite roomy!

Your big Santa sacks look great and I thought at first they were skirts?
That ABC book is so sweet. Yes these pretty bags are so much nicer than the garbage bags that’s for sure. How kind you are to donate them.

The Santa Sacks are a much better idea than garbage bags - and a great way to display (i.e. use) some Christmas fabrics! And I love your ABC book too... the books look like a lot of work!
