The pattern for the second shop in LIttle Winter Shops was released today. I may sew this on Sunday at Sunday Stitchers so needed to make a start so that the counting is easier when there is chatter and other diversions happening around me.
But then it was time for hubby to watch the AFL, so I escaped to my sewing room and decided to start the August block of the Murder Mystery quilt that I am working on...Some months have had quite detailed and time-consuming blocks. This month was a breeze...started cutting at about 8.45 and all finished by about 11PM. I am not complaining!!!

You got a nice start on the next shop. And I love those fabrics in your Murder Mystery blocks. Just a few more hours of work then I can begin my FNSI.
Way to preplan for a quilting social group.
Those stars were fast and gorgeous.
A good start on your latest cute shop. You’re braver than me to do cross stitch at a stitching group.
I love those pink blocks! xx
Good start on your cross stitch and your blocks are super cute.
Your little winter shop is so cute! Lucky you, escaping to your sewing room. My hubby notices I'm gone and starts asking, when are you coming back - lol!
Nice start on the wee shop and some great blocks.
Your cross stitch is precious and you are fast at making some lovely blocks....I am so slow. Have a great week!
You are busy as always! I love the mystery block. I need to get a routine again, hurt all 10 my finger muscles and needed to rest them so took to tidy my thread drawers. So now thats done. Did get some cross stitching done on Friday night. Greetings from South Africa. 💕
A productive night of sewing.
Lovely work... I just was not organised enough this week though of course I was still crafting...
