I've been working on my "Journey of a Quilter" today - cutting the strips and squares to make up the blocks since it's hard to do that after work in short bits. When they are organised I can just sew at night time. So I stuck the blocks up on the wall.
They looked like this . .
(Pictures aren't that great - but I am sure you get the idea)
mmm ... not too sure bout all that aqua in the middle block - try this lot:
mmm - no still not right - try this lot
mmm that's OK.
And the added bonus of taking the pictures and posting them here - if they all fall off - it's easy to go back to this post and re-create them again!
I am sure I could have done the same on a table - but the vertical wall is so much better - and I can leave them there and just pick up a section at a time to sew them.
Hope everyone is well, happy and sewing!
Susan

Just Hanging in There
I dont normally do "nature" posts - this blog was always meant to be for Patchwork or other crafty stuff - but I couldnt resist taking this picture this morning. There is a huge web about 3 feet above this leaf - but how strong is that tiny thread to hold the weight of the leaf - and there was a breeze as well.
Just amazing isnt it??

SKOW - February row
Here is the final block in the February set of blocks for SKOW. The original was "Pride & Prejudice" but there are all sorts of good books I didnt want to favour just one.
Here is December, January & February - including the set of strips that will go along the bottom. So I am officially up to date now.
and a toe with red polish just snuck in!!
While I was busy with the camera - Levi was watching and wondering what on earth I was up to.
