So, this post is a bit late and I can't really remember now what I did when - so in summary for Friday night, and a sewing Saturday I worked on these:
and did some more very "Fussy" cutting
And on Sunday I went to the Beenleigh Quilt Show - some lovely quilts and some interesting ideas to stash away.
Here are a few that caught my eye:
The detail of the bricks was very clever and the thread painting on the flowers was amazing:
It was hard to get a clear shot as the quilt was moving in the breeze.
Lovely to be sewing with cyber friends - for those with a holiday Monday - enjoy!! the weather in Brisbane has been absolutely gorgeous lately, so hopefully it will continue.

Love your stitchery project and that fussy cutting is very impressive, especially cutting around those antlers. (good luck with the sewing around them!) The quilts in your photos are gorgeous...such details!
I just love it when people get into the spirit of things and dress up...good on her!
