I don't have much to show. . . .
Now that I work in the City - surrounded by shops - very dangerous - I thought I'd take a quick look in Myer before I came home...- that turned into quite a long look and then, since I am now a bus traveller (after 35 years of driving to work [insert disgruntled face here]) and I didn't make the 7.20pm, I had to shop more and wait for the 8.20 bus.
Needless to say it was late when I started....but I did get some of the blanket stitching done on this block.
I hope everyone else was far more productive and had a lovely treat to help them.
Thanks Wendy for hosting us all again.

Looks interesting. Good to see you made a small effort, my friend lol
working near shops is dangerous!! I would have thought it's quite nice to travel by bus and just sit and relax?? is that a house block bought at the show? hope you have a more stitchy weekend... just keep out of the shops!!
Hugz
Has your office moved or you changed jobs? I guess the problem with the bus is just that - miss one and it can be quite a wait till the next one. That is a cute block - what/who's pattern?
Wow that's a long day. Lucky you have some shops to look at.
At least you did get to do a little stitching for FNSI
Bugger about missing the bus but at least you got a bit of stitching done. I'd hate to catch public transport here it's so eratic, have you changed jobs/positions which forced you to use public transport?? :) Barb.
You did have a long day....gorgeous block...
Great that you did get to do some stitching. Hugs, xx.
As you told me ...... any progress is good progress....
Helen
eeewww....not sure on the public transport. Have you had an office relocation or a change of jobs? The block looks great and at least you got to do some shopping and stitching.
What a long day for you, Susan! I love the project that you are working on!
what a pretty block Susan and a long day for you.xx
What is the name of that quilt Susan? It's a pretty block. You did have a late start my friend. Are you still off to the quilt show today? Hugs......
Love the block, and at least you got some stitching done. I love a good long browse in Myer too!
A little bit goes a long way.
Hi Susan, I am eternally grateful that I live close to where I work and don't have to catch public transport. I would be making a disgruntled face too. With your stitching, better late than never, and a little bit is always good, especially when you have had a long day. Good on you for making the effort.
I love the house, though. Is the bus ride smooth enough for stitching?
At least you were able to do some stitching, but I can't see any purple in that block?! :)
xx debbie
You did have a long day Susan...good you were able to get some stitching done. Yes nice shops are very dangerous :)
I work in the city too but as the bus stop is only across the road from where I work I tend not to go into the shops (particularly at the moment as they have ripped up the mall to re-pave and its such a pain to go anywhere). Luckily my bus goes every 15 mins (in theory), I'd hate to have to wait an hour. Great looking block!
It's looking good. I'm thankful to live in the country; I don't get tempted by retail therapy ha ha. Your block looks great.
I love to shop....fabric, wood, yarn....city is dangerous for me as well. Oh and gotta avoid online shopping. The convenience of browsing at 3 am. is kinda like grocery shopping when you are hungry. EVERYTHING looks so darn good LOL. Lovely little block btw!
The block is going to be so cute Susan - what is the pattern? Shame about all the good shops to browse in, LOL... x
