Friend De also wanted to do it . . . and after my blog post, a number of people hopped on board the Temperature Tree bus.
I created a Facebook Messenger group so we could all share our progress, ask questions etc...and complain about temperatures....LOL
We had members in Far North Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria, New Zealand and also Denice in Michigan, USA. (Of course, hers was so different !)
De found a blank calendar that I used to record the temperatures and generally I tried to work on it for FNwF and FNSI....(well, I tried...)

I planned around our maximums going from 15 to 34.
AI tells me:
Brisbane experiences a warm subtropical climate with average
annual daily maximum temperatures generally
ranging between 21C in July to 30C in January & February.
Just goes to show you cannot always believe AI!!!
2025 gave us a COLD (for Brisbane) maximum of 17 in June and a VERY HIGH maximum of 39 in October.....I had to find more colours for 35, 36 and I had to group 37 and above.
Most people added a legend to show what colour represented what temperature, so I did that too.
I decided to add fabric borders
Strictly speaking, this was meant to be the January project for Sunday Stitchers....but.... "extenuating circumstances" prevented that happening. . . . .

I like your tree but would also like to see it in colours that reflect the hot and the cold better. Does the kit come with coloured thread already?
Great work finally finished . Is the legend for colour . the same as the temp
chart colours you showed ??

You are right! My colors are so different from yours, exactly the opposite placement! You were very scientific in adding the legend, and it does explain what the tree is all about. I like the border, too. Mine is still sitting on the Thinking Bed while I ponder what to do with it now. Thanks for the push as the year when on, I didn't want to give it up but could have at any point, so the encouragement was needed.
Stitchin' Mommy does a great job with her temperature cross-stitch. The tree and the butterfly are my favorite. Although, I'm not doing either of them LOL. I love how you put the legend at the bottom of the tree. Well done!
Finished off beautifully Susan. It was a lovely little group to be a part of...thank you ... and I still have to frame mine yet.

It turned out so well. You were a great enabler. Having those cooler temps added some more colour. The key makes everything more logical.
