Then I used the left over strips to start on the colourwash blocks. I had to cut some pieces from my very limited stash of yellow. I ended up with 24, so it will do for now.

Love your colourwash blocks. Hope you are staying safe with Alfred!
2 nice placemats and all those blocks is a good amount of yellow sewing. Nice work
Your blocks look great and the placemats are so sunny and cheerful. xx
You did really well with your yellows…
The yellow colorwash blocks are spot on! And how much yellow will you really need, right? You've probably got plenty!
Well done Susan, these are coming along nicely....
You made great use of your meagre supplies of yellow.
Well, you have achieved a lot with what you had.
I struggle with yellow, too. Yet, you have done a magnificent job with your two projects.
Love those place mats, and your colorwash blocks look nice as well. I hope you get the Blogger issue sorted...so frustrating!
I especially like the colorwash blocks.
I also like making small placemats, they are quick to make and good to give as gifts and I like them under my plate.
A happy greeting comes to you from Viola
Blogger doesn't behave very well sometimes. Those placemats are awesome!
I also find yellow is often in short supply - you did well. I ended up turning comments to moderation as I was having the same problem.... some still came as no-reply ..
