She may not be up to date with blogs & Facebook etc - but can happily live without it too.
It was her birthday back in March - with one thing and another (Covid = No Meetings - then retreat) it's been a long time - but finally, I can post this finish.
For OPAM I will count it as August!

Nolene asked for purple presents. The fabric is by an Aboriginal designer and I matched the greeny/teal bits with a little spot.

I’ve finally had a chance to catch up on reading blogs. I always love to see what you girls get up to on your annual retreat. It is such a great format you have with the post it notes. You really were lucky that you could go ahead this year, albeit in a slightly different format. All of you achieved some great finishes and do beautiful work. The birthday gift you made is really striking in that fabric. It must have so difficult for you to work with those colours. LOL.
ReplyDeleteA great big cograts to Nolene for still sewing at age 90. I am super impressed! I love that it is an aboriginal designer!
ReplyDeleteWell done to Nolene, I hope I can still sew at 90!! I certainly have enough fabric to last well beyond that time.
