The last FNSI for 2013
Still lots happening in this household - including getting DD#2 to the airport by 5.30am to go to Canada/USA for 2 months - its going to be very quiet here for a bit - poor dog will be totally confused...but I digress. It had to be something simple...I was a bit tired....so I put together one of the hexagons from This Goes With That by Sue Daley. This is one of those projects I work on from time to time and has no specific future...not even sure what I am going to do with them, I had already prepared the papers so it was easy enough to sew together whist watching TV.
I am in total wind down now...still some shopping to do for "The Big Day", but I am now on holidays until 13th January....might be able to get in a bit of sewing???? I would like to say:
well done with your early start.... our DD2 has gone away too but only for 10 days and it feels quiet!! What a great experience for your DD2.... lovely to be on holiday .... hope you get lots of your stitching done and that hexie is a great start... Hugz
My DD2 and her boys are away until after Christmas also - must be the season for it. But she is not as far away as your DD2 - sounds like a wonderful experience for her. Lovely stitching, great colours. Enjoy your holiday time.
I wonder what you watched on the telly.....I tuned into Santa Clause 3 (to start with). great block, it is always good to have a project that you can turn to without any deadline. Cath @ Bits 'n Bobs
Sounds like you have a nice relaxing project to work on now. Hope your Daughter has many fun adventures. I woke up at 3:30am, can't believe I am still awake now! I couldn't go back to sleep because I was excited to be making my first visit to the new Aldi near me right when they opened at 8am. I checked out tv last night and turned it right back off...blehhh... put the usual Friday night BeeGees sewing music on instead haha. xx debbie
